Requirements of Admission

1. General Requirements

(1) Applicants must be 18 to 25 years old (inclusive), in good health, and have graduated from high school.

2. Nationality Requirements (In accordance with MOE Document [2020] No.12)

(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport.

(2) Former residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have emigrated and apply as international students must have obtained their foreign citizenship by April 30, 2023. Additionally, they must provide proof of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2023, and April 30, 2027 (A period of 9 months of actual residence in a year counts as one full year, as evidenced by entry and exit stamps).

(3) Applicants who acquired a foreign nationality at birth, and whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one parent was a Chinese citizen at the time of birth, must meet the following:

The Chinese parent(s) must have obtained permanent residency in a foreign country before the applicant's birth. The applicant must provide proof of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2023, and April 30, 2027 (A period of 9 months of actual residence in a year counts as one full year, as evidenced by entry and exit stamps).

Note: If an applicant's Chinese nationality is confirmed by the Exit-Entry Administration of the Chinese public security authorities during the application, admission, or enrollment process, their application eligibility, admission offer, enrollment qualification, or student status will be revoked.
